The Leadership Development Institute of Georgia (LDIG) at Georgia State University hosted a first of its kind course specifically for women: Leadership Advancement for Women in Law Enforcement (LAWLE). Recognizing women face specific challenges and obstacles in a male-dominated field, the program is designed to address some of the top concerns in this area and provide them with the tools they need to develop and enhance their leadership skills.
